Choose from hundreds of fun activities for children from Reception to Year 11, including sport, dance, art, drama and lots more!
Children will have a great time making friends, keeping active and learning new skills, plus each child receives a free balanced meal as part of their session.
Any child who currently receives benefits-related free school meals can attend for free.
We can also offer support with travel for children with additional needs. All staff and volunteers are experienced and DBS-checked, providing peace of mind for you and lots of fun for your kids.
Aim
MedwayGo is funded by the Department for Education. The aim of the programme is to make free holiday places available to children receiving benefits-related free school meals throughout the Easter, summer and Christmas school holidays.
MedwayGo has funding to provide sessions for children in receipt of the following benefits:
- Income Support
- Income Based Job Seekers Allowance
- Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
- Child Tax Credit - but no element of Working Tax Credit - and have an annual income (as assessed by HMRC) that does not exceed £16,190
- if you're supported under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
- Guarantee element of State Pension Credit
- Working Tax Credit during the 4-week period immediately after your employment finishes or after you start to work less hours per week
- Universal Credit with an annual net earned income of no more than £7,400.
If your child does not receive any of these benefits, they may still attend certain sessions for a fee. Paid sessions are marked on the website.
