A better Medway

info Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates

Health services under the latest local restrictions

Medway is now in Tier 3: Very High alert. We all need to follow the rules to keep our loved ones safe and reduce the rate of infection locally.

To support all residents during the current local restrictions, we’re pleased to say that the vast majority of our health and wellbeing services will continue to run during these Tier 3 restrictions.

The following services are postponed for now:

  • walking groups
  • Nordic walking groups
  • cycling groups

Our Little Food Explorers programme will continue to run once a month virtually on the Tri for You Facebook page.

Our MAN v FAT football programme is also back at Strood Soccer Centre.

We’re pleased to confirm that all other services are running online or over the phone. We are hoping to bring back some face-to-face services soon including stop smoking.

If you have an appointment for a council health service, such as a health check or a stop smoking appointment, your session will still take place. Please do not cancel your appointment.

For a full list of council service updates, visit our coronavirus updates.
