Our carbon emissions reports

Our Climate Change Action Plan sets out how we intend to reduce emissions across our estate and operations. 

We're working towards a carbon reduction target of 95% by 2050 against a baseline year of 2018 to 2019. Our first carbon budget from 2020 to 2027 is 57,631 tonnes of carbon dioxide emissions. 

We are using the Local Government Association Greenhouse Gas Accounting Tool to calculate our emissions.

Annual emissions reports

We are encouraging other Medway businesses and organisations to create similar reports to help understand:

  • their carbon emissions
  • what action is needed.
