Youth centre sessions timetable

Parkwood Youth Centre

Parkwood Green Shopping Centre, Parkwood, Gillingham, Kent, ME8 9PN.

6.30pm to 8.30pm

A space for young people aged 16 to 25 with additional needs to learn new skills and meet with friends.

Cost: free.

4:30pm to 6pm

An after-school space where you can:

  • learn and try new activities
  • practice creative skills
  • meet with friends.

For ages 8 to 11.

Cost: free

2pm to 5pm and 6pm to 8.30pm

A space where you can drop in at the start of your weekend to take part in activities and meet with friends.

For ages 11 and up.

Cost: free.

Strood Youth Centre

Montfort Road, Strood, Rochester, Kent, ME2 3ET.

  • 5pm to 6.30pm for under 12s
  • 7pm to 8.30pm for over 12s.

Club AUsome works with SEN young people, offering activities such as:

An external provider runs this session. Porchlight are now running its BeYou project at our centres.

The project offers information, advice and support for LGBTQ+ young people aged 13 to 18.

You can meet new people who share some of the same feelings and experiences as you, socialise and just hang out in a safe and non-judgemental setting.

Come along and take part in alternative weeks of archery and climbing.

For ages 13 to 19.

Employability programme

We run a free employability programme for young people aged 16 to 21 (up to 25 with additional needs). 

To be eligible you must not be in:

  • employment
  • education
  • training.

The course offers:

  • CV writing support
  • interviewing techniques
  • job searching support.
