The youth service team in Gillingham and Twydall run a variety of sessions for young people aged 10 to 17 year olds.

Woodlands Youth Centre
Location: Gillingham Children and Family Hub, Woodlands Road, Gillingham, Kent, ME7 2BX.
Mondays
Music with DisQuiet - 6pm to 8pm
A chance to for young musicians to come together to play, write, record, and perform. Working alongside tutors and other young people to:
- learn new skills
- create new sounds
- form new collaborations
- have fun.
For ages 12 to 18 years.
Cost: free.
Tuesdays
Be You project - 4.30pm to 6pm
Porchlight are now running its BeYou project at our centres.
The project offers information, advice and support for LGBTQ+ young people aged 13 to 18 years.
You can meet new people who share some of the same feelings and experiences as you, socialise and just hang out in a safe and non-judgemental setting.

Wednesdays
Shine youth session - 6pm to 8pm
For young people with disabilities or additional needs.
Activities will include:
- sports
- games
- cooking
- art
- life skills and much more.
For ages 10 to 18 years.

Junior hangout - 4.30pm to 6pm
Open session for young people.
Activities include:
- sports
- games
- cooking
- arts and much more.
For ages 8 to 12 years.
Cost: free.
Creative arts session - 6pm to 8pm
Open session for young people.
Activities including
- painting, drawing
- fashion design and textiles
- creative writing
- digital art
For ages 11 to 18 years.
Cost: free.
