Karen Scudder loves to draw. She finds it great for her mental health as it helps her to feel connected to her surroundings and new places she visits.
Drawing in Rainham was part of the Welcome art project. It was about promoting ways to enrich your mental wellbeing in the area.
Some of the things featured in her sketches which can make us feel good included:
- walks in the nature reserve
- taking a yoga class
- being part of a community activity.
