Karen Scudder loves to draw. She finds it great for her mental health as it helps her to feel connected to her surroundings and new places she visits.

Drawing in Rainham is part of the Welcome art project and is about promoting ways to enrich your mental wellbeing in the area.

There are many ways all of us can feel good, including:

  • walks in the nature reserve
  • taking a yoga class
  • being part of a community activity.

These are just some of the things that are featured in her sketches to show what can make us feel good.

Location

Her artwork can be seen on bus stops along Rainham High Street including:

  • The White Horse
  • The Cricketers
  • Holding Street.

Drawings can also be seen at Rainham Railway Station, Ferry Lane, Rainham, ME8 7SF.
