A better Medway

BumpClub Medway is a 6-week programme for pregnant women who want to learn about eating right and staying active in pregnancy.

The sessions will take place online from 7.15pm to 8.15pm every Monday and Thursday.

We focus on staying healthy in pregnancy and beyond, with lots of information about baby care and more.

The sessions include:

  • baby first aid
  • pregnancy yoga
  • midwife question and answer
  • how to challenge yourself to stay active.

Eligibility

BumpClub Medway is completely free for pregnant people who:

  • have a BMI below 19
  • have a BMI above 25
  • have pre-existing diabetes or gestational diabetes.

BumpClub Walks (Medway)

Come and meet other parents to be and new parents and get active with BumpClub walks.

If you're pregnant or if you have recently had your baby, walking is an excellent way to keep active.

Walks are held on:

  • Mondays at 11am starting at Lordswood Community Hub, Lordswood
  • Tuesdays at 10am starting at Dockside, St Mary’s Island.

The walks are 2 mile circular routes which are buggy friendly. All abilities are welcome and you can walk at your own pace.  Anyone who is pregnant or has a baby or child aged 2 or below are welcome.

Beyond BumpClub

Beyond BumpClub offers support for postnatal weight management.

With 12 sessions, topics include:

  • nutrition
  • postnatal exercise
  • emotional eating
  • sleep and stress
  • mental health 
  • weaning and infant feeding
  • weight management. 

Sessions are available both face-to-face and online.
