Rochester Christmas Market is set in the spectacular Rochester Castle gardens and held over 3 consecutive weekends at the end of November and beginning of December.
More than 220,000 people visit Rochester Christmas Market each year to shop in over 80 stalls, enjoy the food and drink in the Bavarian Village, step into the children's Christmas Village with Mrs Clause and the Elves, or just enjoy the roaming performances, music and other entertainment.
The carefully curated market sees a wide variety for shoppers, with many unique Christmas gift ideas. The additional offer of free and paid for entertainment in and around the market ensure that visitors have a truly festive and enjoyable outing.
The ‘Victorian’ theme creates a traditional Christmas offer for audiences and helps set this market apart from others, even more so on the first weekend of December when the Rochester Dickensian Christmas Festival is held. The historic cobbled high street and the castle gardens step back in time to create an immersive Christmas experience like no other.
