How to help rough sleepers
Rough sleepers may have limited access to online resources to know where and how to get help.
We have an outreach team that works with rough sleepers. They work with known and unknown rough sleepers everyday to help them get off the streets.
To help a rough sleeper you can:
- speak to them and share local services including contact details (especially during very cold or very hot weather)
- support someone who is homeless to contact us
- report a rough sleeper to us.
If a rough sleeper is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999.
