Our homelessness services

Many people find themselves sleeping rough and the situations are often complex and hard to resolve.

We provide a range of services to ensure that beggars and people who are sleeping rough get the support and advice they need to help rebuild their lives. We work in partnership with statutory and voluntary agencies to provide support and advice to people.

There are also many frontline services that run all year providing advice, assistance, food, clothes, washing facilities and showers for people who are on the streets.

Protocols for cold weather

If weather forecasts show temperatures below zero degrees Celsius, we put in place our Severe Weather Emergency Protocol (SWEP). We will put people sleeping rough into emergency accommodation during long periods of cold. We arrange these homelessness services at Kingsley House.
