Homes for Independent Living Scheme

Homes for Independent Living is a housing scheme for council tenants over 60.

The scheme aims to give people over 60 more manageable homes that can help them to keep their privacy, dignity and independence. Homes in the scheme can’t be bought under any right to buy scheme and tenancies can only be succeeded by a partner and not other family members.

To apply for accommodation in the scheme you need to register with Kent Homechoice.
