Extra Care Scheme
If you get 5 hours of formal care you can also be considered for Extra Care Accommodation. Extra Care supports people over 55 and helps them to live independently in their own homes and in a community setting.
This scheme is not provided by Medway Council Housing Services but by Adult Social Care.
The scheme also includes:
- self-contained apartments
- communal living spaces
- supported services
- care staff on site at all times, 7 days a week.
