Your birth re-registration appointment
The appointment will take around 30 minutes and will be similar to the original birth registration.
After the appointment, the official records are updated and the new birth record will replace the original record.
Any birth certificates made after this will show the re-registration details.
You can buy a new certificate at the appointment.
They cost £11 each and they can be posted to you within around 5 working days or collected from Medway Register Office.
