Apply for a memorial bench in a country park
We offer memorial benches and memorial trees at a variety of parks, including Capstone farm Country Park. This has become a favourite place to remember a loved one.
Memorial benches in country parks are organised by Medway Norse.
Cost of memorial benches
The cost of your memorial bench will depend on its size, style and location. A memorial plaque will be included in the cost of the bench but does not include VAT and installation costs
You can only apply for a memorial bench in the Stamford Seat design at:
- Gillingham park
- Grange Road, Gillingham
- Jackson’s recreation ground, Rochester
- Victoria gardens, Chatham
- Fort Pitt gardens, Chatham
- The Esplanade, Rochester.
There may be restrictions in place on the location and style of the bench. Memorial benches and location are subject to availability and Riverside Country Park currently has a waiting list for memorial benches.

Memorial plaques for your bench
You can also apply for a small memorial plaque that can be attached to your seat. Please note that the number of letters depend on the style of plaque chosen. Plaques are included with the purchase of your seat.
