How to spot ants
Ants are social insects that live in colonies. You'll usually spot them walking in lines.
Ants may enter your house looking for food (normally sweet foods) or shelter. Once they find food or shelter, they'll leave a scented trail for other ants to follow.
Prevention tips
To reduce the chance of ants in your home or business, you should:
- keep food and rubbish in sealed containers
- clean up spillages immediately.
Treat ants yourself
To treat an ant infestation, you need to kill the entire colony using ant poison.
You can buy ant poisons at your local hardware store. You need to be thorough and follow the instructions on the label.

Before we arrive you must make sure it is clean, tidy and safe so we can carry out the ants treatment.
If we’re unable to get to the infected area, we will not be able to go ahead with the treatment and you will not be refunded.
