Apply for additional funding for previously successful PFGG grants

If your business has previously received a PFGG grant before May 2025, you may apply for additional funding up to £2,500.

This funding is intended to build on progress made by supporting projects that deliver measurable benefits, contributing to carbon offsetting and energy reduction.
What the funding will support
This grant is to help support businesses progress towards decarbonisation and net-zero goals. It will support:
- buying and installing equipment or materials that reduce carbon emissions or energy usage
- improvements to existing systems or infrastructure that enhance energy efficiency
- training specifically focused on implementing or optimising carbon reduction strategies
- the adoption of low-carbon technologies or energy management solutions that build on previous grant-funded projects.
What the funding will not support
The funding will not support:
- routine operational costs or general overheads not linked to carbon reduction or energy efficiency
- retrospective claims. Any work or purchase made before the grant is awarded
- general upgrades or replacements that do not clearly demonstrate a carbon reduction impact
- initiatives with unclear outcomes or no measurable contribution to net-zero or energy reduction
- projects that do not align with sustainability principles or have a negative environmental impact
- applications that do not meet the eligibility criteria.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this scheme, the business must:
- be in Medway
- be an SME
- have submitted a successful application before May 2025 and received the grant
- adhere to De Minimis State Aid (financial aid from the government)
- have a business bank account
- have successfully implemented your proposal from your previous application and provide evidence of this in your application.
Apply
To apply for the grant, you'll need to provide:
- your personal details including your name, contact information and business details
- your latest bank statement
- proof of address
- your decarbonisation plan or report
- how you'll plan to use the grant
- costs and estimates including quotes and professional fees.

What happens after
We may contact you if you do not provide enough information in your application.
We'll aim to process your application within 60 days and contact you about the outcome.
