Invite the Mayor to an event
If you would like to invite the Mayor to an event, you must give at least 3 weeks notice.
Please include the following information in the invite:
- the type of event
- the date and time
- the location
- if you would like the Mayor to do anything special, such as cutting a ribbon.

How we reply to invites
Invitations should be replied to within 10 working days, although it may take longer in busy periods such as at Christmas time.
Once your invitation has been accepted, you will be sent our Mayoral Engagement Questionnaire. This must be completed and returned to us a minimum of 10 days before the event. Once we have it, we can put your event into the Mayor's diary.
