Daily visitor vouchers terms and conditions

You can buy daily visitor vouchers if you live or run a business within one of Medway’s parking permit areas (controlled parking zone).

Daily visitor vouchers cost £2 each.

You can buy a maximum of 50 daily visitor vouchers per month per property.

You can do this in one transaction online or by phone.

Proof of address

To apply for daily visitor vouchers, you need to provide proof that you live within a controlled parking zone.

We'll accept one of the following:

  • utility bill
  • bank statement
  • tenancy agreement (from an agency only).

Documents must be dated within the last 3 months.

If you're a resident, the document must be in your name. If you're a business, the document must display the business name.

We will not approve your application for daily visitor vouchers unless you provide proof of address and full payment.

If you provide false information

If it's proved that you have given false information, you may be prosecuted and could face a fine of up to £2,500.

If it's proved that you have faked a parking permit, you could face a maximum fine of £5,000 in a magistrates court or an unlimited fine and 2 years imprisonment in the Crown Court.

Getting your vouchers

You can choose to collect your vouchers from a community hub or have them posted to you.

We will send the vouchers by first class post or recorded delivery. This will depend on the number of vouchers you buy. You will need to make sure there is someone home to sign for vouchers sent by recorded delivery. We do not take responsibility and will not reissue or refund daily visitor vouchers either signed for or not delivered.

Using your vouchers

You are not guaranteed a parking space.

You can only use a daily visitor voucher once.

You must complete your voucher in ink. Details on this is on the reverse of the voucher. If you do not do this, you could be issued a penalty charge notice.

You must display the daily visitor voucher clearly. If you do not do this, you could be issued a penalty charge notice.
