Daily visitor vouchers terms and conditions

You can buy daily visitor vouchers if you live or run a business within one of Medway’s parking permit areas (controlled parking zone).

Daily visitor vouchers cost £2.20 each.

You can buy a maximum of:

  • 50 daily visitor vouchers per month per property
  • 15 R1 vouchers per month.

These must be completed in pen and used only on the day that the date has been entered (as stated on the reverse of the voucher).

Proof of address

To apply for daily visitor vouchers, you need to provide proof that you live within a controlled parking zone.

We'll accept a document that has your name and address on it and is dated within the last 3 months. For example:

  • utility bill
  • bank statement
  • GP letter
  • tenancy agreement (from an agency only).

If you're a resident, the document must be in your name. If you're a business, the document must display the business name.

If you provide false information

If it's proved that you have given false information, you may be prosecuted and could face a fine of up to £2,500.

If it's proved that you have faked a parking permit or visitor voucher, you could face a maximum fine of £5,000 in a magistrates court or an unlimited fine and 2 years imprisonment in the Crown Court.

Daily Visitor Vouchers are not for resale and should not be resold to any person or business.

Getting your vouchers

You can collect your vouchers from a community hub during opening times, Monday to Saturday.

Vouchers can be available for collection within the same day of ordering depending on the time you order.

Using your vouchers

You are not guaranteed a parking space.

You can only use a daily visitor voucher once.

You must complete your voucher in ink. Details on this is on the reverse of the voucher. If you do not do this, you could be issued a penalty charge notice.
