Renew your traders parking permit
You can renew your permit online one month before its expiry date.
You should renew your permit at least 14 days before the expiry date. This will give us time to process your new permit and get it to you in time. We aim to get your permit to you within 10 working days.
How to renew your trader permit
You can renew your trader parking permit online.
Before you start, you'll need:
- a letter on company headed paper confirming you need a permit to carry out your day-to-day business
- your business details
- your name and contact details.
Your proof must be clear and readable.
Members of the Fair Traders Association will receive a 10% discount. To claim your discount, upload proof of membership with your application.
A traders parking permit costs £167. With a Fair Traders Association discount, this is reduced to £150.30.

What happens next
Once we've received your application, we'll send you a confirmation email.
If your renewal application is successful, we’ll send you an email with a link to a payment form, for you to pay online.
We aim to send your permit to you within 10 working days of the date we received your payment.
Once you receive your permit you must display it clearly in your vehicle or risk being issued with a parking fine, also known as a penalty charge notice (PCN).
