What you can change
You can change the vehicle on your parking permit if your new documentation is in the same name.
How to change permit details
Due to the current coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, we can only accept change of permit details by post.
Please include the following:
- a letter from your company on headed paper or proof of employment, such as a wage slip or ID badge
- proof of your vehicle such as insurance or log book
- if you drive a company vehicle, you must provide a letter from your employer on company headed paper to confirm your name, home address and details of the company vehicle you drive
- your existing permit.
We'll issue your updated permit as soon as possible if all your documents are valid and you've returned your existing permit.
Send your permit and copies of the relevant proof to: Parking Services, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, Kent ME4 4TR.
Refunds
We do not issue refunds for carer parking permits.
