The Academy was launched in April 2014 to attract, recruit, develop and retain social care staff with a strong focus on training linked to continuous professional development for all existing social care staff and managers.
The Academy is virtual and made up of The Adults Faculty and the Student Faculty. These are closely aligned to the Teaching Partnership with Medway Council, Kent County Council, University of Kent and Christchurch University.

- a range of Post-qualifying qualifications including Practice Educator, Best Interest Assessor and Approved Mental Health Professional
You will receive a comprehensive induction programme which will be tailored by your manager to ensure that you are successfully inducted in your new role, and understand the Medway approach to working with adults and families.
