Using our logo
To maintain a consistent and professional brand identity, you must follow these standards when using the Medway Council logo online:
Clear space
A minimum padding of 16px must be maintained on all sides of the logo.
No other text, images, or design elements should appear within this space.
Size and proportion
The logo must not be stretched, squashed, or distorted in any way.
Always scale proportionally to maintain the original aspect ratio.
Ensure the logo remains legible at all sizes (minimum 106px width).
Color and background
Use the official Medway color versions only - primary, reversed or monochrome. See what these logos look like at the bottom of this page.
Ensure sufficient contrast between the logo and background.
Do not place the logo over busy or low-contrast backgrounds.
Modifications
Do not alter, recolour, rotate, crop, or add effects (such as shadows, outlines or filters) to the logo.
The logo must always appear as provided in official brand assets.
Placement
Place the logo in a consistent position according to the layout (for example, top left or bottom right).
Maintain visual balance with other design elements.
