Internet and computer use

All Medway computers are free for Medway library members to use and have internet access. Printing is available for a small charge.

For non-members there is a £3 charge for a 30-minute guest session.

Free Wi-Fi is available for Medway library members at every library and you can connect to the library Wi-Fi on any smartphone, tablet or laptop. Printing and guest sessions are not available over Wi-Fi.

Please note that the library computers shut down 15 minutes before closing. 

Power

All our dedicated laptop desks have special sockets to protect any laptops plugged into them. Please do not plug in any electronic devices anywhere else in the library.

Library users can use the dedicated plug sockets to charge mobile devices when using the space provided.

Data network

Laptops may not be plugged into our data network. This is to protect our system from viruses and malware.
