Essential user permits are for professionals who need to park in any of Medway's controlled parking zones when working in the community. This includes Medway Council staff.
An essential user permit is:
- valid for a maximum stay of 2 hours
- not valid in car parks
- not valid at the registered business address.
An essential user parking permit costs £50.
If a family member or friend visits you regularly to offer support, you can apply for a resident support parking permit.
