Renew your business parking permit
You should request to renew you permit at least 14 days before the permit expires. This is so we can process your application in time.
If you applied for your permit online
You may get a reminder by email. This email will include a link to a short online renewal form.
You'll need to provide a letter from your employer. The letter must be on headed paper and prove you're an employee and need a permit. This must be dated within the last 3 months.
If you did not apply for your permit online
You'll need to provide:
- a letter from your employer, on headed paper, proving you’re an employee and need a parking permit. This must be dated with 3 months
- if you use your own vehicle, provide vehicle proof, such as a copy of your vehicle registration document or insurance certificate
- if you drive a company vehicle, a letter from your employer to confirm your name, home address and details of the company vehicle you drive.
Your proof must be clear and readable.
What happens next
If your application is successful and you did not send a cheque, we’ll phone you on the number you provided in your application to take payment.
If we cannot get through to you first time, we will leave a voicemail with a phone number for you to phone us back on.
You have 30 days to make payment once we’ve approved your application.
We aim to get your permit to you within 10 working days of the date we received your application.
Once you receive your permit you must display it clearly in your vehicle or risk being issued with a parking fine, also known as a penalty charge notice (PCN).
