Why it's important to check your pressure
High blood pressure is often called a ‘silent killer’ because when someone has it there are usually no symptoms.
Around a third of adults in the UK have high blood pressure but many will not know it.
That's why it's so important to get your blood pressure checked.
By taking control of your blood pressure, you can take steps to stay healthy.
