Donate reusable items to Gillingham Street Angels

When booking a trip to our household waste and recycling centres (HWRC), you can bring your reusable items with you to donate to Gillingham Street Angels.

By donating your reusable items to Gillingham Street Angels, you will be helping the environment and vulnerable members of the Medway community.

Items you can donate

Good quality, clean items you can bring to a HWRC to donate to Gillingham Street Angels includes:

  • books
  • fridges, freezers and other white goods
  • homeware
  • paint (cans that are at least half full)
  • small electricals
  • textiles, such as cushions and blankets
  • tools
  • toys.

Where you can donate

If you prefer to donate quality items to Gillingham Street Angels or to other local charities directly, please refer to the list below. You should phone ahead to ensure that your chosen charity has sufficient capacity to accept your items.
