Booking your visit

Festive period 2021

Find out when our HWRCs are closed during the 2021 festive period.

Book a slot

You'll need to book a slot every time you want to attend and dispose of household waste.

We recommend that households should not need more than 4 slots within a 4-week period and advise customers to make each visit count by saving waste if you have space until you have a full load. You can book more than 4 visits if you need to.

Each booking entitles you to one trip to the site only within your specified booking slot. If you turn up again within that booking slot or do not book a slot, you'll be turned away.

You should read the full site rules before you book your slot.

To book your visit you'll need to provide your:

  • name, address and email address
  • vehicle make, model, colour and registration.

Once you have supplied this information, you'll be able to book a day and time slot from the calendar.

Permitted vehicles

You can visit all 3 of our HWRC sites in a car, which is defined as a passenger carrying vehicle under 2 metres in height with 9 seats or less.

If you would like to visit a site with a small van, van bookings are only available at Capstone HWRC on Wednesday and Saturdays.

Van bookings are not accepted at Cuxton and Hoath Way. If you select car and arrive in a van at either of these sites, you will be turned away.

Kent residents who need to visit a site with a van, must book a visit to a household waste and recycling centre in Kent.
