Leaseholder repairs
Your lease details what repairs we’re responsible for and what repairs you’re responsible for. We’ll maintain the overall structure of the block and fabric of the building and associated areas and take health and safety into consideration.
Common repairs include:
- external boundary walls
- doors or window frames
- balconies or basements
- stairwells
- pipes or wiring for water, gas or electricity
- rain water pipes or guttering
- parking areas
- communal gardens
We’ll send you details of any planned maintenance work before we start.
You need permission to make alterations to fixtures, fittings or property structure. You won’t need permission for decoration such as painting or carpets but you will for wooden flooring.
