- maintenance to ensure your home is in a good state of repair
- running costs such as utilities and council tax
- Stamp duty
- solicitor or licensed conveyancer fees to look after the legal side of buying your home
- surveys on your home
- mortgage arrangement costs and a valuation fee
- registration costs to the Land Registry after the sale is complete.
