  • maintenance to ensure your home is in a good state of repair
  • running costs such as utilities and council tax
  • Stamp duty
  • solicitor or licensed conveyancer fees to look after the legal side of buying your home
  • surveys on your home
  • mortgage arrangement costs and a valuation fee
  • registration costs to the Land Registry after the sale is complete.
