Connect 5 training
Connect 5 is an accredited mental health training programme for front line staff working in:
- justice and rehabilitation
- social care
- housing
- worklessness
- social enterprise and the third sector
- pastoral and education support services.
Connect 5 draws on cognitive behavioural therapy to promote self-help.
On the training, you'll learn how to manage conversations with your clients so that they are better able to understand, manage and improve their own mental health.
Connect 5 offers 3 tiered sessions which are half a day long each, starting with an introductory session and followed by 2 sessions that go into more detail. You can complete as many tiers as you want but will need to complete each session before you can move onto the next one.
Mental Health First Aid
Mental Health First Aid is a 2 day course available to anyone working in an organisation
