Our approach to children’s social care is driven by our commitment to ensuring that children and families can access the right services at the right time to meet their needs.
We offer a wide range of support, from strong early help to intensive statutory assistances. This focuses on enhancing children’s lives through effective and responsive practice. We do this by:
- providing clear and visible leadership
- maintaining high standards of practice and accountability
- encouraging learning, reflection, and strong professional judgement across our workforce.
We're proud of our “good” rating from Ofsted. We're determined to build on this strong foundation with the help of our dedicated staff, the leadership of our senior team, and the strength of our partnerships.
We use the Signs of Safety framework as our social work practice model. Our forms and processes have been developed in consultation with practitioners to ensure they are supportive and centred on the needs of children and families.
