Parking permits are for areas of Medway where on-street parking is limited. These are known as controlled parking zones (CPZs). We provide different types of permits for residents and businesses.
Daily visitor vouchers
Daily visitor vouchers allow visitors to your home or business to temporarily park in your CPZ.
Resident permit
Resident parking permits allow you to park in a resident permit space where you live.
Resident support permit
If you live in a CPZ and have someone who visits you every day or regularly to offer support, you can apply for a resident support permit.
Blue Badges
A Blue Badge gives additional parking rights to people with severe disabilities, terminal illnesses, mobility problems or those who have difficulty using public transport.
Carer permit
Carer parking permits are for professionals who need to park in any Medway CPZ to provide help and care in the community.
Essential user permit
Essential user parking permits are for professionals who need to park in any Medway CPZ when working in the community.
Business permit
Any business in a CPZ can buy annual business parking permits for staff or company vehicles. This will allow you and your employees to park in spaces within the specified zone.
Traders permit
Traders parking permits are for traders who need to park in any Medway CPZ to carry out their day-to-day business.
Worshipper permit
Worshipper parking permits are for people to attend their place of worship on either Saturdays and bank holidays or
Late night permit
Late night parking permits allow the permit holder to park in a single car park between 7pm and 9am.
Car park season tickets
You can use a season ticket to pay for parking in advance. This is a great way to save money if you regularly use a council car park.
