Renew your resident parking permit

You can renew your permit online one month before its expiry date.

You should request to renew your permit at least 14 days before its expiry. This allows us enough time to process your permit and get it to you. 

We aim to get your permit to you within 10 working days of receiving your payment. 

Renew online

If you applied for your permit online, you’ll receive a reminder by email. This email will include a link to a short online renewal form.

You may need to check your spam or junk folder for this email.

Proof

You'll need to provide proof of your:

  • address
  • vehicle ownership.

Your address proof must have your name and be dated within the last 3 months. Your address proof can include:

  • a utility bill
  • bank statement.

You'll need to provide proof of vehicle ownership to apply for a resident parking permit. Proof can include:

  • company vehicle proof
  • your full V5c (logbook)
  • insurance policy which shows your name, address and vehicle registration.

We do not accept the V5C green slip (new owners slip) as proof of vehicle ownership. 

Your proof must be clear and readable.

A resident parking permit costs £31. From 8 April 2024, the new price will be £33.
