Paper application form

You can also apply by downloading a paper application form.

Email it to permits@medway.gov.uk or post it to Parking Services, Gun Wharf, Dock Road, Chatham, ME4 4TR.

Please include a phone number for card payment or enclose a cheque.

After you’ve applied

Once you’ve applied, we’ll let you know if your application is successful or not.

If your application is successful, we’ll phone you on the number you provided in your application to take payment (unless you enclosed a cheque with your paper application form in the post).

We may not call you straight away. If we can not get through to you first time, we’ll leave a voicemail with a phone number for you to call us back on. You have 30 days to make payment once we’ve approved your application.

We aim to get your permit to you within 10 days of the date we received your application.

Once you receive your permit you must display it clearly in your vehicle or risk being issued with a parking fine, also known as a penalty charge notice (PCN).

If your application is not successful we’ll tell you why. If it’s due to unacceptable proof, you’ll be given one more opportunity to provide new proof before your application is closed and you’ll need to apply again.
