Medway Local Plan 2041

Our new Local Plan will replace the 2003 Medway Local Plan. It will:

  • guide the development and use of land in Medway up to 2041
  • address the needs of our growing population.

You could have had your say on our new Regulation 19 consultation. 

This is a key stage before we submit the proposed plan to the government for independent examination later this year.

Comments will be passed to the planning inspectorate to consider as part of the examination of our proposed plan. 

The consultation closed on Monday 11 August 2025 at 11.59pm.
