info Coronavirus (COVID-19) updates

Health services under the latest national lockdown: stay at home

Most of our health and wellbeing services will continue to run during lockdown - either online or over the phone.

The following services are postponed:

  • Man V Fat football at Strood Sport Centre – our January league is postponed until further notice
  • our Nordic walking, cycling and walking groups

Our Little Food Explorers programme will continue to run once a month virtually on the Tri for You Facebook page. All our other services remain open. Our Smokefree Advice Centre will continue to be open for stop smoking and health check appointments (by booking only).

If you have an appointment for a council health service, your session will still take place. Do not cancel your appointment as medical appointments can continue under the latest restrictions. But please do stay a home as much as possible to help stop the spread of the virus in Medway.

For a full list of council service updates check our coronavirus page.
